Our Commitment

At Allos Healthcare Services, the safety and dignity of every client is our highest priority. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to abuse and neglect and work proactively to prevent it from occurring within our care environment.

We comply with Ohio's Dependent Adult Abuse laws (Ohio Code Chapter 235B) and all staff are designated as mandatory reporters under Ohio law. We also follow all federal guidelines related to client safety in home care settings.

Prevention First

Proactive measures to prevent abuse before it occurs, including thorough staff vetting and ongoing training.

Mandatory Reporting

All staff are trained mandatory reporters under Ohio law and are required to report any suspected abuse immediately.

Background Screening

Every caregiver undergoes comprehensive background checks through Ohio DCI and national databases.

Client Rights

We uphold every client's right to be treated with dignity, respect, and freedom from abuse and exploitation.

Ongoing Oversight

Regular supervisory check-ins ensure care is delivered safely and to the highest standards.

Transparent Communication

Open communication with families to ensure everyone is informed and involved.

Recognising Abuse

Our staff are trained to identify various forms of abuse as defined under Ohio and federal law, including:

  • • Financial exploitation
  • • Emotional/psychological abuse
  • • Neglect & self-neglect
  • • Sexual abuse
  • • Unreasonable confinement
  • • Unreasonable punishment
  • • Denial of critical care

Reporting Concerns

If you have a concern about the safety of a client or staff member, it must be reported immediately. As mandatory reporters, our staff report all suspected abuse directly to Ohio Adult Protective Services.
